This article explains how to connect Virtual Systems hosted Veeam Backup for M365 Backup to the Microsoft 365 organization. This process requires a Microsoft 365 user with the Global Admin role assigned.
- Go to the Veeam Service Provider Console at https://vspc.vsystems.com:1280 with your credentials > click Log in.

- In the top right corner, click on Configuration.

- In the left navigation, click on Catalog.

- Click on the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 tile.

- In the left navigation, click on Organizations.

- Click on New.

- Check the desired services to protect.
- Exchange Online
- SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft Teams
- Teams chats
Note that Teams chats backup requires using protected APIs and additional billing charges from Microsoft. For more information on pricing, see this Microsoft article.

- When the desired services are checked, click Next.

- Select the region the Microsoft 365 organization is located at in the Region drop down list > click Next.

- In the Application name field, enter an Application Name to use for the backup.

- Optional, if it is desired to back up customized content in SharePoint Online, check Allow this application to enable export mode for SharePoint Web Parts.

- Once the desired selections are made, click Next.

- Click on Copy code > then go to https://microsoft.com/devicelogin.

- Pate the code in the Code field > click Next.

- Sign in with a M365 user with the Global Admin role for your M365 Organization > click Continue.

- When you successfully authenticate, you should see the below message.

- Back on the Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 Integration page, the Verification status should be Verified.

- Click Next.

- Click Finish.

You have successfully connected Virtual Systems hosted Veeam Backup for M365 to your M365 organization!
